The skin is first cleaned and an anesthetic cream is applied to help avoid pain and discomfort. Using a collagen-stimulating product, such as Hyaluronic Acid or Vitamin-C serum during the procedure, will help to enhance results. Next, if using the the Dermapen device, which has a sterile, disposable tip featuring 12 tiny needles, pierces the skin. The device’s multi-speed and fully adjustable needle depth allows for the piercing of the skin’s layer, which in turn increases the absorption of treatment products.
